Höfðatorg Tower Building, Reykjavik

The project involves the construction of a 35.000 m² office and commercial building with a 14.000 m² underground parking garage. The tower building is on 19 floors and the underground parking garage is on 2 floors. The underground parking garage includes e.g. an electric snow melting system in the driveway, a CO controlled ventilation automation system /a special ventilation system controlled by CO sensors (carbon monoxide), a sprinkler system and light with motion sensors. 

VSO’s role in the project is:

• Structural design.
• HVAC systems design.
• Electrical and operating systems design.
• Building automation design.

Project period: 2006-2010.
