Grafarholt

The project involves the design of streets and utility system for Grafarholt, a new residential area in Reykjavík for 5,000 people. The design includes roads (~15 km), walkways (~14 km), utility systems (~30 km) and four underpasses.

VSO is responsible for:

• Roads and walkways design.
• Structural design.
• HVAC systems design.
• Electrical systems and lighting design.

Project period: 1999-2003.

Client: Reykjavik city.
