IR sports club, athletics arena

The project involves the construction of a new athletics area for ÍR sports club with tartan surfaces, snow melting system, floodlighting and a speaker booth.

VSO is responsible for:

• Geotechnical design.
• Structural design.
• Piping system design.
• Electrical system design and lighting.
• Landscape design.
• Selection of all equipment, tartan cladding, etc.

Project period: 2015-2017.

Client: Reykjavik City.
